Young Adulthood
Young adulthood, (approx. 20 to 40 years) is a stage of life in which relationships, partnering, intimacy, sexuality, identity, competency, vocation, family, self-expression, self-reliance and self-responsibility are areas that assume a greater degree of focus in our lives. This is a time to trust your developing and integrating intelligences, e.g., the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual expressions of yourself.
There are a multitude of opportunities to consciously explore and experiment with relationships, identity, self-expression, etc., learning flexibility in the way you think and listen and being able to appreciate multiple points of view. Bringing an integral lens to this time of life, you are much more capable of synthesizing complex/ contradictory situations and knowing there are NO absolutes. Now is the phase to discover how the choices you make enhance the quality of connections you are committed to creating. Choosing to be with others that support you and challenge you continue to develop your integral intelligences.
